SSH Login Portal

The SSH Login Portal (SLP) is a system for LDG users to connect via SSH and from there log in to the common head nodes or submit machines on the various LDG sites (CIT, LHO, LLO, SYR and UWM). The service is lightweight and has minimal requirements: terminal window with SSH client and a LDG user account.

To start, just run the following from the command line,

  ssh albert.einstein@ssh.ligo.org

Substituting your own account name and providing your LIGO password when prompted. You'll be presented with a minimal menu option allowing use to login in to the cluster head nodes.
