What is IGWN?¶

The International Gravitational-Wave Observatory Network (IGWN) is a proposed governance scheme for a consolidated collaboration covering all (current) ground-based gravitational wave observatories.

The KAGRA, LIGO, and Virgo Computing and Software working groups have embraced this proposal and strive to only develop software and infrastructure under the IGWN umbrella, rather than as separate collaborations.
